Must listen

I did immersive reading for this book since audio released yesterday. I picked up this book thinking it was a lighthearted rom com. And it is so much more!!! It made me feel a wide range of emotions that I wasn't expecting and it was a pleasant surprise. Oh and the spice! Very well done. It is beautifully written and brought to life spectacularly by Rachel Dane & E Montoya. And the way they where able to have different voices for different characters was incredible. I will be recommending this to everyone. Slow burn, workplace rivals to lovers.

I already loved the story but Rachel Dane and E. Montoya brought all those beautiful characters to life and the right choice! This is my first time hearing E. Montoya, his was voice was enjoyable and sexy as Nolan, fun when doing Jeremy and typical sleazy for Jackson. Rachel, oh Rachel… I am so proud for your growth. I can hear it with each next book you narrate. Rachel knows emotion and emphasizes that with each character and the brings it all forward to make the listener feel it all. I cried with each crack in her voice, the tight pained whisper and laughed with the friends. The accents are fun, the nasal voices make me laugh and she has one voice I still think sounds like a Hollywood actress.

Absolutely Amazing!

This story was amazing! It was hilarious, sad, heartfelt, and just so beautifully written! The voice actors did such an amazing job bringing this story to life!

Fate at its finest!

I absolutely loved this sweet book. SOO FUNNY!! The friendships! I had to re-listen a few times because I wanted to hear it again. So hilarious and so so sweet! The love! Could not stop swooning over NOLAN. Bless sweet Rorie. I love them. AND THAT EPILOGUE! OH MY GOSH!!! I would have never got to enjoy this if it weren’t for me being a big fan of Rachel Dane! thankful for TikTok leading me to her and now Cedar James books.

This book was such a fun time! I was laughing and the tension was amazing. The topic of loss of parents and grief hit so close to home that this was such a cathartic read for me. It had me in my feels in the best way. Such an incredible story and the invisible string theory was sooooo real for these MCs. 😍
