Publisher's summary

Story. It's the most powerful way to communicate. Jesus understood this. That's why He so often chose to communicate truth through parables.

This is a book of stories that are telling in what they reveal about God, all told by a master storyteller. Brian Summerall's tales of late-night dorm raids, college probation, high school awkwardness, and backstage passes will find you laughing. Others will bring you to tears. Whether they are stories of family, fame, adventure, pain, loss, miracles, or relationships, all of these stories reveal a God who is extravagant in His love for us.

As the author says, I'm praying that as you engage in these stories that life-changing decisions will be made. God decisions. Do me a favor. Pick up the book. Find a quiet place to listen. Let me tell you a story. You'll be glad you did!

Amazing and captivating

I just finished Telling Stories on Audible. Wow, didn’t want it to end! Not only is it so good with your voice, your stories are so soothing. I was reminded why I loved Young Life and hearing you speak since. Your stories are captivating, you bring it full circle, relate it to your audience and reflect from it, truly a gift you have! I recall many stories from Young Life, one of my favorites is how much you love Dr. Pepper but it doesn’t mean you would go out and drink a 12 pack in a night! That one obviously always stuck with me.
Your stories of your family, Tod and all were very moving! Thank you so much for writing this and reading it out loud. My 12 year old is going to listen to it as well, he’s now in Wyldlife and lives it, I am so glad this is at the jr. high level now too!!
My boys are both dyslexic as well so I can relate to a Mac living in a PC world. My oldest felt much like David, after all his dyslexic classes I am happy to say he is in Gifted and pre-ap classes and really wants to go to OU as well!
I’m so thankful for your words and giving heart!
