Fun Life Story with Mind Blown Lessons

Mike invites us into his life of adventures, his band's early years, married life and so on. With this biography comes some Biblical lessons and insight along with wisdom he's gathered from leaders before him. It's a good read for any Christian, especially worship teams.

This Book Can Change Your Life

I loved this book. It condenses the Bible down to the simple truth that the whole point is abiding in Christ: not necessarily some big job like being a pastor, or going into the mission field. Those are good things but we can bring the Kingdom of God wherever we go as long as we abide in Him and do His will. Surrender is the name of the game. As we do we become more filled with and more like Him. As Dallas Willard said, “it’s not what you do that is important, it’s who you become because that’s what you will take with you into the kingdom.”

Really helped me in my everyday walk with Christ. So helpful to be reminded how important humility is.

Absolutely wonderful

I have always thought that Mike was really well spoken. I listen to his videos on YouTube to this day for a dose of encouragement and as a reminder about what life is really about. This book made me laugh and cry. It made me realize things about my own spiritual journey that I hadn’t noticed. It’s worth every penny spent and more.

My New Favorite Book!

This was an incredible book, so much knowledge and great insight, i will definitely be reading this book over and over as i unpack and apply all this truth to my life!

Refreshing, honest words of wisdom

This book is not a blueprint or how-to book. It’s much more, much better. I’m not sure what I expected to hear when I purchased this audiobook, but what I did hear was refreshing, humble, and real. Mike Donehey’s real and humble words resonated deeply within me. The biggest take away message from this book is just be; be yourself, be real. Stop worrying about what you’re supposed to do, just do it. Be humble and open before God, and he will lead us, and when necessary, give us course corrections.

Entertainment & Clear Truth

Mike does an excellent job creating an informative & entertaining audiobook experience. He explains himself thoroughly and relates his experiences back to his points, surrounding it with scripture to back it up. This book is great for type A personality Christians who stress over doing the right thing & what God’s will for your life might be. Thank you Mike, it was an absolute pleasure.
