I owe him a debt. The kind money can’t repay. He wants something else: me, for one year.
But I don’t even know who he is....
Three hundred sixty-five days and nights doing everything he wants...except that.
“I’m not going to sleep with you,” I say categorically.
He laughs.
“I’m going to make you a promise.” His eyes challenge mine. “Before our time is up, you’ll beg me for it.”

There were sections where Britney absolutely knocked the narration out of the park. But there were also just as many sections where I wanted it to just move on because she didn't have a lot of inflection going on. But I would still listen to more books narrated by her, I still enjoyed it.
1st person POV
The POV is all from Olive's point of view.
Pros of the Story 👍
- I like the dynamic that the author uses for Olive and her best friends friendship. It's very relatable. And it really makes you feel like you can feel the chemistry between them.
Cons of the Story 👎
- for me, this was a con: is very short. I prefer longer novels but then again there are people out there who prefer the shorter ones so it's not a con for everybody.
In summary 📝
7/10 would recommend to my fellow readers who like series. Because this is definitely the first of many books.
So, once I finish this series, I probably won't ever visit it again. But I digress, it is just the first book it might pick up and I might feel differently. So, I will keep you posted :-) in future ratings.
Wish it was Duet style narration.
