I loved it

I really did love the book but I felt the story line was rushed a bit. Over all great book tho!

This is Issy's story (twin to Fallon from Claim Me). She's Fallon's twin and she too has lucked into 3 fated mates, specifically triplets!

I'm a sucker for RH and darker themes don't scare me off. Theres also a lot more background to the Patriarch and the witches as a whole.

Narration by Greg Salinas, Troy Duran, Jeffrey Holz, Lisa Zimmerman and Maeve York.
Hats off to both female narrators ago stayed true to their characters in Claim Me! Greg and Troy are 2 of my favorite growly voices, which were perfect for their roles and Jeffrey is fairly new to me and was fabulous as well!

I've been devouring this series on audio!

Darker tones in this awesome RH!!

J.R. Thorn is one of my favorite authors and she did not disappoint with her contribution to the Immortal Vices & Virtues collab series. It's Izzie's turn to find her mates. 3 vampire brothers, triplets.. originally under the thumb of Dahee (sp?). Thorn masterfully builds the history and seamlessly threads it into the present. Izzy,Jaz, Kor and Zy all find completion with the mate circle, strengthening each of their magic.
The spice in this... 🔥 hot!! Being an audiobook girlie, I looove the narration. Jen always picks amazing narrators; this cast is not different with Troy Duran and Gregory Salinas being in my top 5 faves. ❤️ Run to get this one!!

Immortal Vices and Virtues: Her Monstrous Mates

A great addition to the multi author series the Immortal Vices and Virtues: Her Monstrous Mates. This book follows the story of main character Issy, sister of Fallon whose story is in Claim Me by Lexi Floss and finding her fated mates and freedom as well as vengeance. A paranormal world full of dark and pain but also hope and love. I so enjoyed the fantastic talents of our multi narrators who brought our characters to life. Swoon worthy vocals and a smooth flowing and exciting storyline that is sure to captivate and leave you pleased. I think the title should have been Hear Me - based on the talents, or curse as it may come across of main character Issy but regardless - a great read/listen. I also appreciate while triplets are her mates that they each have their own personalities and styles which I think the narration made all the more defined. Great job with the balance of dark despair and light hope as well as the sweet and heat. Can't wait to listen to more!

But I am not spending another 25 for 10 hours. Sadly. Narration was the best (out of my library of 900 audio titles)! Get it if you can afford it

Great book for this series

I love JR Thorn and I love the narrators. Interesting storyline. Not sure I’m into the twin thing but to each their own. I still loved it though!

Dark Paranormal Reverse Harem Romance

Taste Me by J.R. Thorn is a dark paranormal reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Troy Duran, Jeffrey Holz, Gregory Salinas, Maeve York, and Lisa Zimmerman. This book is set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues universe and can be read as a standalone.

This is the first book of J.R. Thorn's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship between Issy, Jasper, Kornelius, and Zyran. I loved getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Troy, Jeffrey, Gregory, Maeve, and Lisa did an amazing job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a paranormal romance, why choose romance, or romantic suspense.

I knew going into this that I was going to LOVE Issy's story! Her magic is pretty phenomenal! And her mates... 🥵 Wow! Spice at it's finest!

Loved it! Read Claim me by Lexi Floss first :)

I have loved this entire series thus far, but I think this audiobook and Lexi Floss' "Claim Me" are my favorites. The two books are about twins, Fallon and Izzy. Listen to "Claim Me" first. That book is about Fallon. In a nutshell, the Patriarch of witches have suppressed the female witches of their coven because the females are more powerful. They basically take them at birth and suppress their powers by putting them under compliance spells and force mating them to coven members. They are then cyphoned for their powers to make the Patriarch stronger. Fallon and Izzy are one of the most powerful witches born, and the Patriarch has used their love for each other to keep them under control. Fallon has a link to the dead, a bit like Necromancy. Similarly, Izzy is like a death siren, so she stays mute and communicates telepathically with Fallon. Fallon discovers she is mated to not 1, but 4 powerful entities. Being mating to these four allows her to start breaking the bonds she is under with the patriarchy. Things happen during Fallon's book that is linked to Izzy's, but Izzy's book (this one) starts up where Claim me left off. Fallon has her mates already and is mentioned quite a bit. In similar fashion, Izzy finds her mates in 3 vampire hybrid brothers, who each has a special gift related to death. They balance Izzy's magic. I think the storyline is unique and entertaining. Sexy times are quite spicy. I was excited to get Izzy's story after hearing so much about her in Fallon's book. The narrators are fantastic and I love this duet style, where each voice actor does their own speaking parts despite whichever POV the chapter is read from. Lisa Zimmerman narrated the females in both books and voiced multiple female voices. She did an mazing job!

While I love lots of Thorn’s strong, powerful, sassy female leads, Issy may be a fave—her attitude, her plight, and so much more about her felt so relatable, which definitely made for a more personal reading experience. Perfect when getting lost into a dark read, IMO. Oh and she’s described as ‘curvy’.

The crossover with Claim Me was beyond fun—as an obsessed fan of all things Foss, getting a bit more of Fallon and Ayla only added to the fun and the continuity seemed on-point.

‘Taste Me’ and ‘Claim Me’ sort-of work together to depict generations-long trauma cycles, the power a strong support system can instill, and strong female leads claiming back their power and breaking harmful cycles, leaving the world better than they found it. Absolutely brilliant—I could never properly express their greatness. So well done.

A flawless production with an all-star cast and beautiful narration. Excellent continuity too as if my memory is correct Fallon’s voice matched her own book (Claim Me by Lexi C. Foss). I cannot recommend this edition or its cast enough. 🦩
