Romance with a touch of steam

This is the book if you want more of the love chase and less of the steam throughout. It’s still there but doesn’t dominate the story. Well done.

Flipping FANTASTIC

Everything this book this series is FANTASTIC! The narration, story, continued explanation of the other books! OMG I NEED MORE!!!

I liked this book. The whole series is good and can’t wait for the next!!!

Outstanding

Max Monroe have done it again. I have been intrigued by Cap since he first appeared in the series and this book has just cemented my love for him. Ruby Rockford had me in stitches from the introduction, I knew she was going to be the perfect woman to bring Cap to his knees and I was right.

I loved how Cap’s entire perspective on life was influenced by Ruby as he fell for her, she really brought out his more caring and vulnerable side showing his that there is more to life than work, work and more work.

The chemistry between Cap and Ruby is intense and so smoking hot I almost needed a fan. The narration by CJ Bloom and Eric Michael Summerer absolutely brought this story to life and in my opinion they were the perfect choice for this book.

The appearance of some familiar faces is always greeted with a smile and when the men get together to discuss ideas on how Cap can woo Ruby, then you know that there are going to be some awkward and uproariously funny shenanigans going on.

This was a laugh out loud, hilarious read that had me receiving many funny looks as I was reading on the train to work. It was non stop fun and all I can say is please write more stories with these amazing characters. Another fabulous book Max Monroe, you two nail the RomCom genre and set a very high bar for others.

One of the best

I have listened to quite a few of Max Monroe's books and have enjoyed all of them. But this is the first one I have left a review because I absolutely loved it! I laughed out loud so many times, and it was so much fun to listen to all the characters from previous books that I enjoyed. Thatch, Kline, Wes, Milo, Cassie, etc. Please keep bringing these characters back in other stories. I have not quite finished the book yet, so I might write more later. Great Book

Great Book!

This book had me laughing out loud, crying and falling in love. My favorite book so far in this book series.

Every loves Thach, so it is only fitting he host .

What started out as a poker night foe the ends up to be a book club for all the wrong reason and boy did Cap get a life changing outcome. love seeing the guys together always but the wives win out as always. Remember you can never go wrong with a MaxMonroe book.

Caplin and Ruby

Goodness! Caplin is arrogant, a total player and so full of himself. Ruby walks into his life and turns all that arrogance around and makes him feel something that he never has before. Honestly, I did not know if he would redeem himself until he said "I never felt more like a dirt bag then I do right now." That changes everything for him, Ruby made him see what he was truly doing to women and especially to her and what he honestly felt for her. This was a definite slow burn but worth the wait. I enjoyed this book.
Narration was perfection!

Steamy scenes need help

The back and forth quick banter, and sarcasm that is so effortlessly written for the dialogue between the group of billionaires/friends I believe is what qualified this book to have any stars above three
The storyline and both its execution was done very quite well. I just feel that for all these billionaire series. Often the character description of each of their separate stories is how they are. These wealthy men who are used to and this amount of attention from women and very easily have very/very overactive sex lives
Max Monroe, for some reason writes very poorly written steamy scenes. There is never any detail to make you feel the moment these couples are in. The heat that you want us to be feeling or understanding that is in that moment false flat when you’re expecting a really awesome description of an erotic scene and it fails to deliver. I would suggest Max Monroe keep up the good storyline and story bantering and continue with the character that she creates an executes, but her sex scene and steamy scenes. Definitely need a lot more work.

This series is a gotta listen to series

It has been a great series so far. Absolutely love the female characters and so glad they are able to get the over the top female magnetics to become a one lover/wife type of man. Always happy endings. Can’t wait to start the next book.
