Fun interlude

This short introduces Cass and Thatch, who are adorable. The only issue is Thatch’s voice, which does not match his wild personality, Jeremy York’s voice is more suited to the professor or lawyer type, not the laid back crazy prankster that Thatch is supposed to be.

This also made me dislike Georgie (Benny) more than I had in the prior book. If you have an irrational fear of ocean life, why would you want to spend several weeks in Bora Bora on the water? Further, if you know you’re being irrational, why embrace it and act on it. It just makes me feel bad for Kline, as he does his best to just make his wife’s irrational behavior acceptable.

Daggum!! I can’t do this!!

I love the first book in the series but this one just made me fall in love with Georgie! She IS adorable! It’s gonna suck when it’s over. Why do I do this to myself! Ugh! 🥰🤗😩

Cass and Tach! Nice! Funny and great story. Cannot wait to listen about their story. This was like a tease.

The character bantering is Lol!

I love the characters connections and banter. It is clever and hilarious. I LOL through the whole thing. It truly is one of the best I’ve listened to in terms of the interactions. Also, Very sexy and lots of chemistry.

Still laughing out loud!

This novella is the crossover blend between the first book in the series and the second. I love that is not your typical 1.5 novella with a nauseatingly sweet story about the newly happily ever after couple. Max Monroe did a great job blending the storylines of Kline and Georgie and Thatch and Cassie. I can't wait to dive into book two now. On top of it being a good story it is so freaking hilarious!!! It's worth the read just for the bonus love story between Walter and Stan!!! I'm still laughing about that!!!

I found myself literally laughing out loud multiple times. the girl who reads cassie is annoying but this is a great story

The Great CJ Bloom on narration makes it an A++. Missing Sebastian York on the male narration.

great story but the guy's voice sounds very feminine, so it threw off picturing a big musculcular guy, when I'll I kept wondering es if he's gay.

Cute details

I love that this book gives cute details of the honeymoon and weeks after the honeymoon. How Kline and Georgia get a dog and why Kline bought their house. I also love how it gives us the opening to Cass and Thatcher relationship starts.
