love this series

At times, I do get frustrated with the FMC's weakness and self-flagellation, but I do realize that a lot of that is because of how she was raised. Even though I get frustrated with some of the characters sometimes, I still love this series and will devour book 4 as soon as it comes out.

Idk why people are saying this is all smut - maybe it’s history readers and not actual smut readers? It’s spicy yes, but the story is so captivating! Truly cannot wait for book 3.

Gripping

I swear each book just getting better and better. The story just pulls you in and won't let go. I loved seeing how everyone's feeling changed and grew for one another. I'm loving forward to seeing what happens next .

This story is really good..

Everything about this story is great. The narration, the plot, the slow slow burn, and I mean snail slow. There are a couple things that really bother me but the story is so good it is only somewhat brought down by the issues I have. I love slow burns but this was tagged as a reverse harem but it is barely there, maybe the last book is where this happens. If it does I really wish all the 'members' wouldve been equal parts but they aren't really. At this point anyone else seems like they would turn out to be 'extra' members which I dislike. Her relationship with the others hardly has a fraction of the elaboration as with the main mate.

The other major issue I have with this book is Tamsin as a character. I really dont like her. She is so pious and its continuous. She does not get over herself, at least not by the end of the second book. Maybe she will be less self righteous in the third. I get she's supposed to be a super brainwashed christian and have inner turmoil but its tiring. She walks so far over the line of 'holiness' but does not adapt and has almost no self reflection or growth as a person. I just cant with her, its so childish. I wish she was stronger and more self sufficient. It bothers me though I understand the time setting this book was written in. She is just super annoying though. Her only supposed qualities are that shes a princess and an 'omega' and there are no other real traits that sets her apart from anyone else. Anyone could've taken her place and it would not have mattered.

It prioritizes competent worldbuilding and intense emotional connections over standard genre tropes. Love the distinct personalities of the MMCs.
