Single Mom Romance

Takedown by Nikki Ash is a single mom romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Avery Reid and Christian Leatherman. This is the third book in the Fighting Love series.

I absolutely love Nikki's books. She does an amazing job taking me on an emotional rollercoaster in every one of her books.

I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Mason and Mila. I loved that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Knocked Down to be released on audio so I can get Griffin and Ava's story.

Christian and Avery did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a single mom romance, roommates to lover's romance or contemporary romance.

I absolutely loved Mason and Mila's story. I remember meeting Mila in Clinched and being so excited, knowing she was going to end up with Mason and it was so perfect. This almost felt a little insta lovey at times, but truly their relationship took time and I loved how they got to know each other at first, even if it was as (one sided) secret pen pals.

Mason was so much more broken than I even expected, but I loved him so much for it. His mom was breaking my heart, but the way they ended melted me into a puddle. I was so happy for them both. I did wanna do bodily harm to Mason for a minute when Mila messed up, but I was glad they were able to fix things without a full third act break up.

The audio was great. Avery Reid and Christian Leatherman both did fantastic jobs narrating these characters and I loved listening to this story.

The narrators did a great job I enjoyed listening to them.

This can be read or listened to as a standalone but these characters do appear in the other two. Mason is the sexy playboy MMA fighter that as he refers to catches as releases his conquest. Mila is a single mother who was the nurse when Tristan's daughter was born and then friends with his love interest. She swore she would never be with Mason. While attending their friends wedding these two end up married. Another great story from Nikki I loved listening to these two as their relationship developes and we get to hear why Mason is the way he is.

Takedown is book three in the Fighting Love series. It's an MMA, single mom romance. I absolutely loved the bond and relationship that grew between Mason and Mila. These two are perfectly matched. Their chemistry and tension were fire. This one has so many feels.

Avery Reid and Christian Leatherman did a great job bringing these characters and this story to life.

Sweet Slow Burn Romance

This is the third book in the Fighting Love Series. Mason and Mila’s story is beautifully written, sweet, passionate, and engaging, filled with secrets, drama, and twists and turns. Mason is handsome, caring, and enigmatic. Mila is beautiful, kind, smart, and strong. They are opposites attract, and they are perfect together. Mila’s son Alex is adorable. The supporting characters are great. I loved to see again the characters from the first books in the series. Avery Reid and Christian Leatherman did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Knocked Down, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series. #PFPAudio
