Publisher's summary

Are you scared to get help from others for your triggers?

I get it. Not everyone takes dissociative identity disorder (DID) seriously, and the last thing you need when dealing with this diagnosis is people laughing at you or dismissing you.

Perhaps you feel helpless, as though it is impossible to live with DID and the symptoms that it creates.

However, that is far from the truth.

Surviving Dissociative Identity is the book you need to help live with this condition. DID is incredibly hard to deal with on your own, especially due to how little attention it is given by other people.

It doesn’t have to be this way. This book will teach you techniques and strategies that you can use to cope, recover, and heal from DID.

The best part? This book isn’t layered with overly-complicated jargon, which is the issue with many of the DID books out there. Instead, it provides you with all of the essential tips and tricks you need to tackle your disorder in the best way possible.

Inside Surviving Dissociative Identity, you will discover:

  • Three key risk factors for developing dissociative identity disorder
  • Nine common myths about living with DID
  • How to identify your triggers and keep them from catching you by surprise
  • Why people with DID have a hard time controlling when they switch alters, and what you can do to regain control

Isn’t it time you took back control from this difficult disorder?

Completely Underrated Resource

This book is thorough and an easy listen. The author even walks us through the exhaustive process of receiving a diagnosis. I definitely recommend it.
