At least I've got a gorgeous half-elf by my side and a demon waiting in my dormitory to hear all about it when I return. If I return.

Great series so far

The book seamlessly starts where the first finishes. Very good character development and loads of action and spice.

Highly enjoyable

I got a review copy for free.
I paid for the first book to get to this one and I am glad I did. It's a fast paced with fun characters that I enjoy listening to them interact. Not to give away spoilers but one of the side characters gets a 180 change in personality and boy is it hilarious.
Something about Kirks dialogue writing just hits different and draws me in. Over and over I come back to his books and look forward to new releases.

Book two pick up right where book one stop . The main character back story is interesting. Gives you enough to make a guess at his past without giving it all away. Great book over all.

Good pace and direction

Good pace and direction. Also like that the filler is keep to a minimum to progress the story along.

A excellent start to a series.

This was very good and I seriously hope a new episode will come out sooner than later.

👍👍👍👍👍I hope there are more books to come in this series! The MC is great along with a really good supporting cast! The story is captivating! The narrators also do a good job of bringing the story to life! Great job Kirk Mason!

Not great

Book one and two so far just slightly confuse me. Seems like not a lot important is going on for most of them and then they're suddenly talking about some world ending threat. The MC also gets lost in thoughts often which may be what makes it hard to follow for me.
