My Hayden

Of all Amy Daws Books this is my favorite.
Hayden and Vi are just perfect for each Other.
Vi is just so amazing, the way she cope with Hayden I don't know if I would have been so patient and understanding as she is toward him, she really fight for him to make Hayden see that he was not weak...

There were time that I wanted to shake Hayden and make him see some reason because he was frustrating at times even when the chemistry between him an Vi was tangible, but I fell in love with him even more after a wonderful sceen where he opens himself to Vi and tell her what she means for him.

Vi's brothers are other thing I loved them and that "Bacon Sandwich Rule" c'mon Cam and Tan are the "wosrst" LOL.

But what made this book even better was the amazing duet narration.

Will M. Watt was truly amazing he made all the male voices perfect that you can distinguish one from the other.
Charlotte Cole was perfect for Vi her narrattion was truly great and her voice as Leslie was also so accurate and cheerful.

I need MORE of the Harris Family ❤️

This was a great introduction to the harris family. vi is sweet and caring but also a little spitfire. after spending years taking care of her family it's time for vi to put herself first. enter hayden clarke, a tortured soul struggling to heal from past trauma. he's trying to take control of his life and shouldn't get involved, but his attraction to vi is proving to be too much to ignore.

This story dealt with some dark issues but in a "light" way. amy was able to maintain levity without taking away from the gravity of mental health issues. this allowed for a nice balance with the romantic storyline.

The narration on this was wonderful! i had previously heard and loved will watt and charlotte cole in blindsided (yes, i started out of order unintentionally) so i already knew they would be great in this. i love that these are duet style as it feels almost like watching a movie, and it moves the story along at a nice pace. 4.5/5 🌟

I need so much more of the harris brothers! the epilogue chapters gave us a lot of time jumps with snippets of story that i hope will be fully explored in the rest of the series. unfortunately the one i'm most looking forward to is gareth's story which is the last of the brothers' stories ☺️

Overcoming past events

The duet narration by Will M Watt and Charlotte Cole was wonderful! The story of Vi Harris and Hayden had angst, sweetness, struggles, family and lots of love. I like the way Hayden’s struggles with past events and Vi’s responses to his treatment of her because of these struggles. Highly recommend this whole series.

Amy you genius! ✨ I enjoyed every second of this book, the way it book gives you an insight into suicide and addiction is monumental. I have never laughed and cried so hard while listening an audiobook and the way these narrators portrayed their characters were so beautiful Will and Charlotte you guys are amazing! 🥺The plot oh my god the plot it was not what I was expecting but I really loved it and now I am obsessed with Amy’s writing techniques 🥰 Off to listen to everyone one of Amy’s books lol 😂
