Must listen

The more I read the more I realized there is another way out of procrastination. I was really surprised that I was using his advice actively while reading his book, and I was able to read it all in one sitting, something that I have never done before with a book. Great book and great advice.

Overall good

Overall, I could not be happier with this book. Noah even gave recommendations for other books that helped him, which is also valuable. ‘Looking forward to reading from this list on some of the topics I want fuller depth on.

Hopefully, with taking action on his recommendations, I can edit this review a year from now and say it has paid off

I really need this book!

What I liked about this book is that Nil provides a roadmap for beating procrastination. Instead of a long-winded book (which might be anxiety-provoking for the typical person who procrastinates), he played to the psychology of his audience and created a short, but information-dense book. While the chapters are shorter, he conceptualizes the points very well along with providing a summary and action steps.

No BS and straight to the point.

Getting stuff done is hard. It's harder when you have to fight the world AND yourself. This book shows you how to do both. Fantastic read. I will be recommending this to my students.

Great listen.

Great listen. I didn't feel like it was too repetitive or filled with self-promotion, like many self-help books. There were several helpful strategies I plan on implementing, and I've highlighted many parts of the book I plan to reflect on. I've also shared some of the insight from this book with my partner.

Very profound. Very common sense.

As someone who chronically struggled with procrastination, I have often tried to read books and articles on the subject. However, I was hardly ever impressed until I listen to this book. So many A-ha and Wow moments. Yet, everything in the book looked commonsense. I duff my hat to Nils for his gift of the pen and depth of knowledge and research into the subject of procrastination. Stop Procrastinating is simply a fantastic listen.

This is a very readable book with plenty of practical tips on breaking the procrastination habit that you can put into action right away. I especially like the idea of starting out small and not letting perfectionism get in the way of making small but necessary improvements.

Overcome procrastination

Lost time is never found again. . . that's what I worry about. Noah does a great job showing how procrastination is less about time management and more about emotion management. This book is practical and useful. It teaches you how to "hack" your thinking and how to push through the resistance that keeps you from getting stuff done. Each chapter has helpful summaries and key tactics that you can start using right away.
