Publisher's Summary

She was born to be a thief. To save the world, she will have to become a queen....

Zoey Donovan-Quinn is growing restless. After months of searching, her crew hasn’t been able to locate the resting place of the one man who could save Daniel. While they frantically continue their quest, Zoey is still struggling to recover from the devastating losses she suffered in Faery. In the midst of her grief and worry, Louis Marini appears and demands the Blood Stone he forced Zoey to steal. Zoey has no choice but to hand it over.

When the giant ruby’s true nature is revealed, Zoey discovers she has given their greatest enemy a weapon of unimaginable power. Equipped with the Blood Stone, Marini intends to dominate the supernatural world and, on a more personal note, claim Zoey as his companion.

Desperate and on the run, Zoey, Dev, and Daniel forge an unlikely alliance with an old adversary who claims he can lead them to the wizard who can free Daniel from Marini’s clutches and help him claim his throne. As they race to solve a thousand-year-old mystery and gather their forces for the ultimate battle, Zoey prepares to do what she does best.

If Daniel and Dev are to have any hope of victory, she will have to do the unthinkable... surrender to Louis Marini and steal back the Blood Stone.

There is a ton of tears before the HEA!

Boy, I surfed cried a lot, during the roller coaster adventure. There was a lot that happened during this book. This book was told only from Zoey’s POV and it made for some tense times. A good part of this book takes place while Z is a captive and it’s tough not knowing what is going on with Danial and Dev. There are several rape scenes and although they are not terribly violent, having to bear witness to any person being taken sexually against their will, is always difficult. The one nice thing about fiction is that the author is able to have the two hero’s and the Heroine have no lasting effects from Z’s capacity and rapes. Unfortunately, the nature of the plot, in this book, allows for very little interaction of the Trio on a personal level and I admit, I missed their times together. There was still a few important things that weren’t addressed, by the end of this book and unfortunately, there aren’t any further books released in audio. I either have to read the remaining books or wait patiently for the further audio productions. I hate coming to the end of series because deciding what to listen to next is always a challenge. Oh well, I’m shall prevail! -V from Kansas

Outstanding

When I started the series I struggled to get through it. Mainly because I didn’t understand Zoey (my personal issue not anything the author did). I gave up at first but decided to try again. I’m so glad I stuck with it. Steal the Night is my favorite book in the series. It brought out every emotion I have. Excellent job to the author and narrator.

I have read this book so many times I have it memorized. This was my first time listening and I wasn't disappointed. I loved hearing the emotion in Zoey as she goes through so much.

Wonderful ending to a great series

Wonderful ending to a great series. When I first started the series I was hooked. Each book drew me in more and more. The characters were colorful, complex and captivating. Being such a fan of the Masters and Merc. Series I was reluctant to being reading Thieves and I am so glad I did. I would enjoy watching a film series. I think it would translate well to the big screen and would draw audiences similar to Lord of the Rings. Vamps, Weres, demons, and thieves! oh my!

It can’t be over!

Haha this wasn’t my first listen. I just love this series. Kitty Bang is a genius. Every character in this series is important. Kitty Bang shows extreme respect and love to each and every character. And Lexi’s has the best characters ever. Every scene, every sub-plot, and every conversation is brilliant. Zoey is so loyal to her crew. Dan and Dev are all bad-ass, loving, and totally honorable bosses. I love that Dan, Dev, Marcus, the wolves and witches understand that Zoey will do her job and a survivor. There is one fault fo Thieves and it has to do with Summer. She was significantly talked about during her creation in book one and in book four involving the sirens’ riddle. Definitely a dangling thread in this masterpiece. 😜 which brings me to the subject Thieves Hunter Series. It’s about time us audible listeners, devout fans of this brilliant series get to listen to the other stories in Lexi’s Thieves universe. Please!!!!

What happened to Summer?!

I must have missed it with the book being so long. I was hoping for a reunion or even thinking maybe that child, or another daughter of hers would be for the Vamp. Then I thought maybe there's a separate series for her but no such luck. Would be awesome if the siblings meet up and have their own adventures. The two powerful ones that left and promised to come back when needed, Welp. Solid book though.

Much Better

This one was written much better there was even a few scenes where she did an excellent job the story was good and then she reverted back to the old books or whoever wrote it but it was a nice change not too much repeat on what happened before
