Too preachy

I was enjoying it until it got too preachy. I wis it had been labeled Christian.

A very enjoyable book...

I found it to be a great story about Hope Harbor...that was well had a good narrative. I look forward more stories in this series.

Preachy

If you are all for preachy books...this one is for you. I don’t mind opposing views from mine, but I don’t like it shoved down my throat. I wish there was something saying this was that type of book. It’s sweet and the story is sweet.

Beautiful story

Another book of kind people in a kind place. Love Theres plumber she displays strong characters

Uplifting story of how we shouldn’t look where people have been but where they are standing now.

I enjoyed hearing how each example fit together of people who felt like life hadn’t given them the best circumstances but they made the most and encouraged one another in the process.

“Hope Amid Differences”

Yet another excellent story from author Irene Hannon. Her characters confront real contemporary issues and manage to find the hope they need to survive.
Hannon has created this small community of citizens with some notable characters like Charlie and the two clerics. But she is also introducing us to the individuals who compose this small town, and she describes their individual stories so that we are becoming familiar with the town itself.
She also presents moral issues tastefully and maintains her focus on humanity’s need for God.
I plan to read every Hope Harbor narrative in the series.

Good Romance novel

Except for the religious parts this was a typical romance novel. It was just what I wanted to hear and I enjoyed it.
