A story where zero situational awareness...
wins the day. G J Ogden writes descent prose but the story lacks interesting characters and interesting plot. The MC comes off as the hero of a past world-ending encounter from a 'V'ger'-like enemy. However, his timidness towards killing known enemies in the name of some justice-sense while deferring to his psychotic bada$$ Amazonion-like sidekick to dish out all the righteous JUSTICE with glee makes him more of a foil to her than a leading character. Additionally, the dynamic duo continue to take on known numerous and dangerous enemies alone with little planning and still find a way to live another day.
I'll not continue this series.
