Heartache at its best!!!

I sat around listening to this, too distraught and anxious for the story to finish - only to almost had a heart attack!!! Where do I find the other books to this??!! TL Swan, you’ve done it again!! Love your books!!!!

It’s a cliffy

The last line of the blurb says, “This is a completed contemporary romance series.” When I saw it was nearly 16 hours I thought maybe they combined the stories. I’m guessing it just means that the author did complete the story but it’s a little misleading.
I love this author and an instant purchase for me. It was pretty back/forth and some pretty heavy side story action (I thought for sure we would revisit the girl from the therapy session…. That chapter was so long).
I freaking love Sean as a narrator and “The Bonus” is a re-read(listen) for me frequently. He’s good here too. The accents were fun.
If you love this author you’ll like this but you might not love having to wait to finish the story.

Love love the banter between characters.

Doesn’t matter what the book is from this author, I automatically download. Nice mix of smut and actual story plot. It’s killing me to have to wait for next title. Voice actors make the story even better. If you swoon over an Australian accent (like me), love a little taboo smut I urge you to read this story or any of T.L. Swans books.

Audiobook is PRECIOUS

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Review — Stanton Adore by T.L. Swan

I’ve been hearing T.L. Swan’s name everywhere in the romance world, but the SECOND I found out she wrote an FMC with the pet name Precious and that the audiobook features Sean Masters… I said SOLD. Downloaded instantly. No hesitation.

This audiobook runs a little over nine hours, and yes—it took me longer to get through than I’d like to admit. Not because of the story, but because this time of year is chaos. When you’re constantly around kids and family, keeping your listening streak alive is a challenge.

But let me tell you—Chapter One? Spice central right out of the gate. And suddenly I’m being eased into hearing my name in Sean’s Australian accent. I told everyone he’s the king of accents. Pair him with Sofia Lette, an actual Australian voice actor, and the performances were spot on. His character lives in America, so that subtle Aussie lilt worked like a charm.

And the STORY? Delicious.
Childhood sweethearts.
A boy who becomes a billionaire.
A girl who lets him go so he can chase his dreams.
And then… SEVEN YEARS of pining.
Say. Less.

Add in a little kink, a little sweetness, a little boxing energy from the MMC, and you’ve got yourself a feast of a romance.

This was my first time listening to Sofia Lette and it will not be my last. She ran the full emotional gamut in this one. My favorite? Annoyance. Every woman listening absolutely felt her irritation with the MMC—and I giggled every time. She was believable as the woman scorned, the woman in love, the woman in lust… all of it. Superb.

And Sean? There’s a reason he’s one of my favorite male voice actors. His voice is rich—mature, smooth—and paired with his talent and range, he’s unstoppable. He’s still on the younger side, which means he has years to keep honing his craft. Mark my words: he will be one of the top names, if not the top name, in the romance audiobook world in the next decade.

So yes, this is an easy five stars from me.

My socials exploded with more T.L. Swan recommendations after I shared I was listening, so those are officially on my TBL list now.

My only downside? If you’re an audiobook girly like me, this is book 1 of 4… which requires patience. And if there’s one thing I don’t have a lot of? It’s that.

But I’ll be diving into book two immediately anyway. 😉

So Angry

I love this author but this book has me shocked. The character development is lacking, because they never evolve, which is central to previous books, and the ending… good grief. Frankly disappointing.
