Story
Charlie and Josh's interests were the same as most other teenagers: drinking, parties, and girls. That was until the day they discovered the Time Bubble. It starts as a bit of fun, jumping a few seconds into the future. Soon things take a more serious turn as the leaps in time increase in duration. When a teenage girl goes missing, and the police become involved, suspicion falls on Charlie. How can he explain where she is? Will anyone believe him? Set in a small market town in Southern England in the early 21st century, this time travel novel has plenty to delight listeners.

Story
After a brush with death at the tender age of nine, Faer Michelson has a near-perfect autobiographical memory. He has a good life, a loving wife, and he's only mildly concerned about Y2K. Sure, no one else remembers Bobby Kennedy was president or that time an alien took over the TV to declare war, but what's that in the grand scheme of things? Then one day Faer remembers something that he can't shrug off: his own death in 1968. It turns out the Time Warp isn't just a song in Rocky Horror.

The wall just didn’t look right. Alex has been trying to cope. Life after his deployment had been rough. His ex-wife thought he needed to stop disappointing their daughter. She was right. He would try harder. With six hours before his little girl’s fourth birthday party, he saw the anomaly. One wall was too short. Plenty of time to tear out a panel and look behind it. He found a brick wall. His house wasn’t made of brick. Behind that was another just like the first. He still had time. When the second wall came down, Alex stood and stared at the shining doorway.

Publisher's Summary
Getting lost in the wrong time was bad enough. But things get far worse for Josh Gardner when he can't even find his way back to his own universe.
When his ex-girlfriend, Lauren, starts having recurring nightmares about a strange alternate reality in which she was murdered, Josh becomes interested in proving the existence of other universes. Finding a focal point in the past from which thousands of new universes seem to stem, he travels back in time to find out how they were created. Unfortunately, he ends up causing the very event that he went back to investigate.
Cast adrift in the multiverse, he no longer has any control over where and when he will end up. With each jump sending him further and further back in time, he finds himself lurching from one alternate universe to another, some similar to his own, others drastically different. He has but one hope - to find an alter ego in another universe to help him find his way home. But in worlds ravaged by wars and diseases, in many cases it becomes a battle just to stay alive.
Splinters in Time is the fourth novel in The Time Bubble series. The story continues in the fifth volume, Class of '92. A spin-off series, Second Chances, is also available.

I hate a cliffhanger
The Narrator is better suited here than the one from the previous book. She was good even if her Scottish does sound Irish at times.
The story though, hmmm, the author lives out a couple of fantasies, fair enough, but it seems as though a future villain has been telegraphed with an old time travel trope, this as far as I've got so I don't know yet, I hope it's a misdirect.
Finally there's the cliffhanger, meaning I've got buy another book. That really ticked me off and means the spin off's will not be getting my money. 😂

A newly discovered Nostradamus prophecy has taken the internet by storm thanks to "The Oblivion Doctrine", a group of online conspiracy theorists. Apparently the end is nigh. Story
Everyone’s heard of Nostradamus. No one’s heard of Philibert Montmorency. One was a legend. The other, not so much.... A newly discovered Nostradamus prophecy has taken the internet by storm thanks to "The Oblivion Doctrine", a group of online conspiracy theorists. Apparently the end is nigh. And in case anyone’s interested, nigh is definitely a Tuesday. Doctor Ally Oldfield, professor of Medieval Languages, is summoned to Lyon for a second opinion. She’s not happy about it. But then again she’s rarely happy about anything.

Story
It’s a beautiful day for a wedding. White roses scent the air and the summer sunlight streams in. A spoon chimes against a champagne flute and the room falls silent. And there he is - my husband - getting to his feet to propose a toast. He’s still handsome. His new wife is next to him, gazing upwards, oblivious. I’m not supposed to be here. All these years in the same town and I had no idea until I saw his name on the seating plan. He lived with me, once. Loved me. Small-town memories are long, but the people in this room don’t want to remember.
