This is the real thing - if you are true to speak

Wow this is the best book about speaking I’ve read. Purpose Profit Profound and not for the weak. Dan is Epic. Thank you for keeping it real.

Great info- Awful narrator

Incredible material but an absolutely obnoxious narrator. He’s so hard to listen to despite the information being fantastic.

The book proves it’s content

I didn’t “like” how it was read but it is specifically read like that on purpose which I can understand because it works it serves its purpose nothing more or less! I think this book makes plenty of logical sense and stands on its points!

nothing earth shattering

If you've worked in sales nothing here is earth shattering. nothing really "new" but its always good to go over the basics.

if you haven't done sales before, I'd say its worth a listen

Definitely a game changer... selling is Key

As a business owner this book really opened my eyes to the power of my voice and my story. The plan is to read everything from Kennedy and sharpen my selling skills actively. now the actual reading of the book by the narrator was suspect.. I had to listen over that but I go the message.. lol

Classic Dan Kennedy! A Must ... that is if you want to sell!

This book will help anyone who wants to speak to sell. Will it help a little or a lot? A LOT!!! Tremendously!!!

Stopped Listening

I found the book to be full of stories and self-glorifying and not much I found personally useful. I finally stopped after Ch 11 which was an entire chapter on his objection with NSA. I don’t have an opinion on NSA, I just don’t want to listen to an entire chapter on his dissatisfaction with them and how much they secretly admire him.

Ruined by awful narration

I have consumed dozens of audiobooks, some better than others, but this is by far the most difficult to listen to.

The narrator uses no meaningful inflection, instead inserts pauses as, if there were, commas randomly inserted between, every 2 to 3 words, and completely breaks, up phrasing and, flow so that meaning is mind, numbingly difficult to ascertain.

It sounds as if he is simply reading a long list of random words instead of a professionally written and edited business book aimed at ambitious entrepreneurs and business people.

I don’t think the narration would have been any worse had an inhuman robot text reader been given the task.

I somehow managed to struggle through the opening note and the first chapter, but I had to keep pausing the audio because it was so difficult to follow. A few paragraphs into chapter 2, I had to stop.

The irony is not lossy on me that a book titled “Speak to Sell“ has such an awful narrator reading the text.
So awful in fact, it rendered audio version of this book insufferable.

I recently discovered Dan Kennedy and just finished the audible version of No BS Selling to the Affluent Which I highly recommend. Inspired, I was very much looking forward to this one, as I have started an education business and I plan to sell courses and workshops via online webinars.

Because I have faith in the teachings of Dan Kennedy, I have ordered the printed copy of this book and will attempt to learn from that instead. If it is as good as I expected to be, I would likely create my own audio version to play on long drives and while traveling.
