we are what we eat.
A veteran is adjusting to the chaos he has returned to. The short-term future of the USA is clear. Civil War . The same kind of Destruction we have participated in the rest of the world has come home.
Excellent writing, filling in a believable picture in glimpses of the future. Everything is foreseeable given our current state of affairs, including the plastic gun. You could say ripped-from-the-headlines.
