Some issues to try to overlook

Oh, the alcohol and prescription drugs, and with someone who shouldn’t be so ridiculously irresponsible! The story did keep me engaged, though. As some others have written, the narrator makes listening a challenge. I don’t think it’s an accent so much as an affectation, where “best” and “test” rhyme with “past.” Narrator: please stop that. It’s annoying.

I think it's really good. My only problem is the main character is a mental health professional and she sometimes doesn't talk or act like someone who has knowledge of psychology. barring that, a great who done it.

Unrealistic

Too many unrealistic possible villains. Way too much chronically drug and alcohol focus for a psychologist. Finds out her husband’s dead and no real emotion, shock or revelation.

very twisty

It was a very good story with a bunch of twists and turns. You won't be disappointed.

Unexpected twist!

The author included enough details to keep you guessing without dragging it. Perfect narrator and enjoyable from beginning to end.

I had to suspend disbelief throughout the book.

Dr. Faith is an unethical self-centered alcoholic therapist. I stopped listening, but later picked it up again and I’m glad I did.

The plot moves along well and culminates in an ending that absolutely surprise me. This book is well worth
listening to.

I kept switching who I thought was the villain!

Great entertaining story! Amazing narrator! Well written and I normally don’t leave reviews but this one I really liked! She’s always.writes good books!

Gripping story

Didn’t want to stop listening. It held my attention like only 1 out of 10 books can.

Didn't see the ending...!

Great storyline and likeable characters and the narration was awesome. With all the clues you think you know who it is, but shocker!!!!

Narrator was tough

Maybe it’s just me but I just couldn’t handle the narrator. She has an accent that I can’t place but it just grated on me. Breath sounds like braath. Check sounds like chaack. I stopped about three quarters of the way through.
