Can't get past the narrator....

As soon as I heard the prologue I had to pause to see if this is the narrator I swore I'd never listen to again- the voice of Kate in When She Returned By- Lucinda Berry. & unfortunately it is. Narrators can make or break a story. I made it to Ch. 5 before giving up. This is the 3rd book by Seraphina Nova Glass that I've read/started. The audiobook of A Quiet Street with Imogen Church- the story, the narration- 10/10! Then I bought a copy of The Vanishing Hour- amazing! I may try the paper version of this story as I didn't particularly dislike the story. It was purely the narration that has influenced my rating.

all if her books area amazing and I just wanted to say I LOVE AMY McFadden's narration!!!!! this was not just a predictable book. it was very complex! thank you. I now own every book❤️

Great narration once you get passed the first 30 mins.

Good storyline but almost predictable. But liked how everyone was a suspect so it made it just a little harder to figure out until closer to the end.

I really liked the way the story unfolded.

The book really kept my attention. I would recommend it. the ending was hard to listen to as it did include violence.

The Unexpected

Story was very good. Kept my interest. The narrator was great, enjoyed it . Moves along.
