Enjoyed this Read

I would purchase another book in this series. Surprising end. Narration was good. Give this one a shot.

A little too long, but not bad.

This was a decent listen. I liked all the voices that were used with the exception of the female detective. It went on a bit longer than it needed to with next to no real ‘investigation’ other than ‘we’d like to ask you some questions’ from the detectives, and I found the ending a little predictable, as well. But all in all, it wasn’t bad.

Did not guess "who"

Did not guess "who" so that is a plus. It wasn't bad but not great either, just okay...helped pass the time.

Substantial plot, great characters and narration.
Enough twists to keep my interest while following a logical line to a surprising conclusion

Good story!

One of the narrators for a woman’s part sounded like a man. Threw me off the whole book.

Captivating

I enjoy trying to see how long it takes me to figure out the ending of the story. This one was great due to so many characters. One drawback during the performance was difficulty in following men’s roles sometimes due to the pitches of their voices. I would definitely recommend this book to others who love puzzles.

Outstanding

I also took a chance on this book. I have now found a new author to follow. Story and narration make it definitely worthwhile!

Great read

It had a good mystery to it I did like the two voices to distinguish the two main characters

Better than anticipted, really good twists.

I didn't have high expectations for this book and boy was I wrong. I was hooked from the first page. A really different take on a mystery. I did not guess the killer because of the twists - which I loved. Lots of very interesting characters. Only thing that kind of bugged me was that author took a little too long to explain Molly's background. First time reader of author and will definitely look for more books by her. On performance I took away a star for the voice of Rtia, I know she is written as a tough seasoned detective, but I didn't feel like the voice matched the image. Looking forward to more Rita stories - will read What Waits in the Woods when it is available either by Kindle or Audio.

The story is fast-paced and held my attention throughout. In fact, I binge-listened to all of it in less than two days!I’m really looking forward to the author’s next book—I hope it’s soon!
