THIS WAS FANTASTIC

New to the series. Now I'm hooked. hope they can adapt this into an animation. it has plenty of funny moments but also has tons of plot and story. The narrator was fantastic. I highly recommend.

Excellent narration! I hope to see much more.

I hope that the author and narrator go on to put out much more content. I am very picky with both writing and narration. This was a treat.

Bad vocal sound effects.

The book and story were really good. Please stop doing vocal sound effects the immersion was ruined every time, try a soundboard next time or dont do sounds at all.

I love this story.

Solo Leveling has become on of my favorites stories to date. Great story and characters. My only gripe and it is a very, very little one was the sound effects were a little hard to get used to. However by the end of the book I actually enjoyed it alot. It really added to the story. I can't wait for volume 2 to come out both in paperback and audible!

Just Stop

Ki Hong,

Please stop with the crazy mouth based sound effects, it does not translate well to normal novel/audio form. You wouldn't want a narrator to translate / vocalized Batman or Superman's punches BLAM, POW, BOP, SLAM! Unless it's the real sound effect of that happening.

Other than the glaring issue, I read the Manga. It is a great little series. Chugong seemed to have tweaked the MC's personality to be not much of a total jag off like most are in your typical Web Series or Manga's. I'll get vol 2, but only if Ki Hong stops with the silly sound effects!!

Finally, light novels that aren't a harem!

I will talk about the book, the narrator, and then my wishes. This book is well written with great pacing. the action is good and all the characters seem to have a purpose in conjunction to the plot. Can't wait for the next book!

The narrator was awesome. Not only did he speak clearly, he managed to voice sound effects that no one should expect a human to make but he does it without breaking character. Some people have complained but honestly the only way to do better was to insert actual sound effects (which I would also be fine with). But seriously, don't take Lee away from us for volume 2.

Lastly, thank you. Thank you Yen Press for understanding that there are people that want audiobook light novels. There are people with disabilities (handicapped and learning) that will be happy to buy these. It is so hard to put onto words how happy I was to find a promising light novel that was NOT a harem or the third in the series. As a female I don't want to read someone's horny checklist or for some statistics to push the best selling book of a series to be published in audio before book one of the series.

And Audible this is a suggestion but perhaps you might want to make a "light novel" or "ranobe" category so your target audience can find the relevant books instead of dabblers that have no idea what they clicked on and give it a bad review because they don't realize what it is they purchased.

Fun and entertaining story

The story starts with action and keeps it coming. The main character is likable. The narrator is great at story telling until he inserts his own sound effects... it's a bit cringey at times BUT he does a good job overall.

Good Listen

Good content, I enjoy reading the Manwha but this is just another way to enjoy the same story. I can't wait for future volumes.
