Intriguing yet mild

I really enjoyed this book and its ability to keep me happy. Although there were times I heard myself audibly sigh due to the characters decisions the story as a whole was engaging and intriguing. I loved the progression of the characters and the writers ability to rein it in when needed. It was nice to read a romance novel that didn’t include graphic details about the characters sex lives. I liked how it was explained and shared with us the readers. Definitely a great read and would recommend to others who enjoy a good romance novel.

well written book enjoyed the story and also the characters first time with this author will look for more of her books !

Narrator is whiny

The narrator ruined a good story - she was whiny and didn’t sound like a woman in her mid twenties. She sounded uptight and whiny.

A little less inner ruminating would be nice - she was constantly rehashing the same things over and over. The travel angle was nice - enjoyed hearing about the scenery and sites.

A great read/listen!

Smart girls really can do it all. A little adventure and love without the embarrassing intimate language.
