Loved it!

There is something so satisfying about the marriage of convenience turning real. I loved the push and pull and the overall chemistry of these two characters. The small gestures Soairse did and Luca slowly realizing there was no way they could keep this fake was so good, absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to read the others in the series. The female narrator took some time to get used to but overall great!

Great story

I loved the characters and the way the author included past characters as well. I definitely recommend this book.

I didn’t expect anything and it was everything I needed.

This book is a fun, trope-filled romantic comedy with all the makings of a binge-worthy read—fake marriage, forced proximity, a billionaire hero (Lucas) with a bad reputation, and a heroine (Saoirse) who just wants to live life on her own terms.
This was a whirlwind of witty banter, unexpected jealousy, and emotional moments.

Very messy divorce (parents of one of the main characters)

Loved it!

Wow, how much I love the characters of Luca and Soairse. I love the whole thing about the inconvenient wife storyline in the deep emotions, held by Luca more than his wife. He showed a side of a man’s emotion that can be real in the real world. But I wish I could’ve had a happy ending with a baby. Hopefully that’s the next book. Thank you.

Interesting & worth a listen

Overall I enjoyed the story. I didn’t care for the female narrator’s voice but over time I did get used to it.

The female voice was hard to endure

The book has spicy scenes and a predictable ending but each scene where the female voice actor spoke made me cringe. I struggled to finish it

Steamy & romantic

this was the perfect audio. It was once of those storylines that just keeps getting better and better. I even listened to the steamy scenes, and usually I skip those! Really worth listening to.

A REFRESHING, ENJOYABLE, SLOW-BUILDING ROMANCE

I really enjoyed the fake-to-forever journey that people-pleaser Saoirse and Playboy Luca travelled.. both knowing from the start neither one of them were looking for a relationship or anything beyond the two years they’d agreed on. I liked the gradual build as this author had them slowly growing closer, letting warmth and friendship into their relationship and promising to be loyal, open and honest with each other above all else. And I thought her storyline was well-balanced with mutual attraction, growth of feelings, emotional conflicts, both family’s secondary characters, chemistry, sex and the inevitable drama and screeching to a halt of their marriage plans. I also loved Alastair’s narration of the handsome, possessive, jealous, all-work CEO who believed he’d eventually have a true love match marriage someday.. not knowing he was already there. And Allie’s narration of the stubbornly cynical daughter with mental scars about marriage because she’d been front and center when her own parents fought through their severely broken marriage was ok too.

Worth a credit? Yes I really enjoyed it.
