Thrilled that Kyra Parsi is finally on audible!

I've been hearing about how great Kyra Parsi's books are for at least a year. I was so bummed when I learned she didn't have any audio versions of her books because I almost exclusively read via audiobook. Imagine my delight when this one turned up on audible! It definitely lived up to the hype. I love good banter and this was peak hilarity. The chemistry between the main characters is incredibly believable and the side characters are quite enjoyable. The narration was also very good. I hope more of this author's books are able to be narrated, I will definitely be back for more.

Duet Narration

This book is -as Tom Hanks would say in The Polar Express- “HOT HOT HOT”. The duet narration of this audiobook is so freaking good.

i read it a whiel ago and it was definitely one of my top books this year! And when i saw the audio book was released and couldn't help but to buy it and listen to it at work.
can't wait to see what else the author has for us!!!

What Fifty Shades of Grey wished it was!!

This book had me kicking my feet, giggling!!!!

Some billionaire books give me that yucky feeling inside, the power imbalance and the stakes are high. He’s buying her and she doesn’t really realize it.

This one, sure the stakes are high for both of them, but they are both ready to choose the alternative and walk away happy together. The pressure is coming from outside the relationship, they’re not giving each other ultimatums or making it the other’s burden and factor to consider.

I missed the good old days kind of books so much... Light, fun, funny, magical romance!
It gave me Beauty and the Beast vibes, like a Disney movie – I freaking loved every second of it!
It’s a duet, but there’s only one POV (the FMC), which is understandable, yet I really wanted to get inside the MMC’s head.
I can’t wait for more of Kyra Parsi’s books to be published in audio too 🥰

I’ve already read this book twice and couldn’t wait for the audiobook. I love this story so much, but I’m not gonna lie, I was a little bummed by the male narrator. He captured the pompous bit, but lacked the sultry depth I was craving. Overall a fun listen!

Incredible

I have listened to 92 books so far this year on audible and this is a favorite. The spicy scenes are SO GOOD. the writing is just incredible !!! The plot, the character building, its sooooo good. And the performance ??!?!?! These two voice actors do such an amazing job, they’re so believable and they even do voices for smaller parts in the book! Love love love x 100000000 definitely read / listen!

Just for fun

I enjoyed listening to this book, it was just plain fun. A perfect story to relax to after a hard day, big thumbs up!

Snooze, no emotional depth

Couldn’t wait for this to be over because I never like to quit. So drawn out. The characters never form an emotional connection at all. The FMC never stops talking and the MMC is so dull and boring, and the voice does nothing for him. No spark, no angst. Glad it’s over.
