I've read alot of psychological thrillers and most are pretty predictable. This one took so many turns it kept me interested. A definite must read.

Love that it was not obvious and a great addition to this series. It did feel a little long at parts but overall a really good book.

Anna-Lou Weatherley continues her Detective Dan Riley series with Book 9, “She Made Me Do It.” Get ready for a wicked ride during this pulse-pounding tale of friendship, betrayal and revenge. Narrator James Lailey is back and for good reason. His pitch-perfect skills, as always, go above and beyond. The story is full of surprises and chilling subplots. Samantha Valentine, a devious manipulator, crashes into the central character’s life with a perfect façade, but beneath the surface lies a web of secrets and lies. As she becomes entangled in Samantha's world, they start to uncover the truth – but is it too late? The shocking twists and turns had me craving more. Samantha is especially intriguing – her charm is so convincing, but as she peels back the layers, I began to wonder what was real. Weatherley’s writing is engaging, the characters are intricate and the tension is tangible. I was at the edge of the ledge as the protagonist’s life unravels; they'll stop at nothing to uncover the truth about Samantha's sinister game. Is she a calculated manipulator or is there something deeper at play? Highly recommended for fans of psychological thrillers with just the right dose of the creep factor thrown in. Epic, indeed!
