Publisher's summary

A Warhammer 40,000 Audio Drama Collection.

The sinister and aloof Inquisitors and their servants exercise nearly limitless power – it’s essential to root out the many and varied enemies who would bring ruin to mankind. Other powerful agents, like the independent privateer Rogue Traders, are given free reign to treat on behalf of mankind’s interests. These stories explore both organisations, and their agents, with full-cast audio dramas.

Listen to it because:

The Inquisition might not always be 'good' in the conventional sense, but it does act in the best interests of mankind – or so it believes. Gain some insight into the shadowy organisation and the shadowy people who work for it in this collection of audio dramas written by Black Library stalwarts including Dan Abnett, John French, Chris Wraight, and more.

Mixed bag

Some better than others. Wish I had more of some of them from the beginning. Or it was a little more focused. Eisenhorn and Blackstone fortress stories are very different.

50% good 50% meh

really good story writing up to the point of the Blackstone stories. Those seemed written for a younger audience as far as the style of writing.

An overall Good Mixed Bag

A decent collection of stories overall and some good perspectives of "non-super" human characters working for various Imperial Agencies. Some stories are pretty bad though. The Greyfax, Assassinorum, and Blackstone Fortress stories in particular were very hard to take seriously. A mix of cringey diologue and overly grandiose voice-acting in my opinion. It's a bit disappointing, as I've come to expect high quality from all Warhammer 40k Novels. Worth the listen I think though, even if only to listen to the Eisenhorn stories.
