Referred to read
A friend of mine referred me to read this book so I choose audible. I was skeptic because I feel a relationship is 100% and 100% where both parties need to participate, not just where 1 can bring the 2 of you together. Some stories were not what I'm going through and some were. I am at a point where I need to try something but still feeling both of us need to work on the relationship, not just me. The stories and information is good and something I took in, it may be right for someone else.

Couldn't get past the first chapter
Would you try another book from Susan Page and/or Susan Page?
I feel like this author spends the first chapter talking about how qualified she is to tell us how to fix a relationship on our own. Her voice is annoying to me as well. Sounds like something from the late 70s/early 80s as far as recordings go. Sorry I spent the credit on this.

We'll see if it works. I know it's got to help.
Nice listen well see how it works. I know I was the one who failed and didn't realize to do anything till she completely quit. I just hope it's not to late. I wish I would of found this and heard it sooner that definatly would of helped.

Taken in context
Well narrated. I got the book with hope, but it failed in practice. It does though bring insight to while you may want to keep you both together, ultimately both have to feel the same way.
Yes I failed, but I am not a failure.

There is hope
This positive book inspired me to keep trying. Very good, practical and applicable information. Very common sense.

So very helpful!
Where does How One of You Can Bring the Two of You Together rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book gave me hope, and a lot of wisdom and insight into changing my behavior which then changes my partners behavior.
What was one of the most memorable moments of How One of You Can Bring the Two of You Together?
There are many helpful stories, however the one that stood out was about agreeing in an argument to at least some of your partners concerns and how this will soften them and help them feel understood.
Have you listened to any of Susan Page’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not, but Susan has a soothing voice and even when I speak to my partner, I can hear her tone in my mind as a gentle reminder to choose my words carefully and speak in a calm and caring manner.
What did you learn from How One of You Can Bring the Two of You Together that you would use in your daily life?
You do have power and control by first looking to yourself.

Not too helpful
I didn't find this book very helpful. Some reasonable suggestions were given, but more so the authors droning voice was not engaging and I found myself hoping the lecture would soon end.
Not sure I would try another by this author.
