A second chance romance to squirm and drool over!

I FREAKING LOVED THIS ONE!!! JAX IS SO AWESOME!!!

This has to be my favorite second chance book so far! Although I love them all. But Jax just did it for me. He and Sophie were meant for each other, but bad parenting and miscommunication made a mess and they were separated for too long!!

Jax is a star quarterback and Sophie is a romance novelist on the NY TIMES sellers list. They were both successful and even had a son that Jax never knew about. When they come together again it isn’t because they want to, especially Sophie.

I’m loving these books, and cannot wait to read the next one!!

The narrators were great and brought the story to life!!

Second Chance Romance

This is my first book from this author and it didn’t disappoint! Loved the swoony was from the MMC and the strong stick to what she wants FMC!

Good…but…

The story was ok…but I was pretty disgusted with how easily Sophie forgave Jax. Just bc he could explain everything, it should have never been an issue….and then SHE APOLOGIZED!?!? Um…no! I couldn’t get over the explanation of his actions enough to enjoy the rest of the book.

Second-chance

I liked this second-chance romance. The chemistry was undeniable and electric. The storyline was heartwarming, passionate and emotional. The narrators beautifully brought the story to life.

Mediocre at best.

Enjoyable but disappointing.

This book had all the makings of a book I'd love:
Secret Baby
Second Chance
Fake Marriage

But I just didn't connect with Jax & Sophie.
Or rather "Baby Soph" **throws up in own mouth** I couldn't handle that. I really found Jax to be so cringe. He is definitely not one of my book boyfriends. lol.

I started off really enjoying it, then at some point I was just "meh".
I can't put my finger on when that moment was though.

I have to mention how much I hated the "daddy stitch" comment from Jax.
EWWWWW So unnecessary to even write that.

Was it enjoyable, yes.
But definitely not the kind of book that's going to make me run out to buy more from this author.
