Publisher's summary

Lucia

It all started with a contract signed by him, then by me, while our families watched. While my father sat silent, a man defeated, giving his daughter to the Benedetti monsters.

I obeyed. I played my part. I signed my name and gave away my life. I became their living, breathing trophy, a constant symbol of their power over us.

That was five years ago.

Then came the time for him to claim me. For Salvatore Benedetti to own me.

I had vowed vengeance. I had learned hate. And yet, nothing could have prepared me for the man who now ruled my life.

I expected a monster, one I would destroy. But nothing is ever black or white. No one is either good or evil. For all his darkness, I saw his light. For all his evil, I saw his good. As much as he made me hate him, a passion hotter than the fires of hell burned inside me.

I was his, and he was mine.

My very own monster.

Salvatore

I owned the DeMarco Mafia princess. She belonged to me now. We had won, and they had lost. And what better way to teach a lesson than to take from them that which is most precious? Most beloved?

I was the boy who would be king. Next in line to rule the Benedetti family. Lucia DeMarco was the spoils of war. Mine to do with as I pleased.

It was my duty to break her. To make her life a living hell. My soul was dark, I was hell-bound. And there was no way out, not for either of us. Because the Benedetti family never lost, and in our wake, we left destruction. It’s how it had always been. How I believed it would always be.

Until Lucia.

Very Good

First want to say I didnt want to get this book due to negective reviews even though I was on the fence and wanted to get this book.
I am very glad I picked this book up. I do enjoy reading dark romance books. This was an amazing book, if you have issue with bdsm which includes spanking you may not like this book. This was a love story and worth the read and i am picking up the next book.

Good book!💜

I really enjoyed this book, even though at first it seemed like a typical Mafia type romance. Shortly after I started reading/listening I realized it had its own flare as well as some twists and turns.
The narration was really good although at times I had trouble distinguishing between male and female voices. That being said, he did an amazing job on the accents and I can’t wait to hear more from this narrator.
I recommend this book!

pretty good

Lucia got on my last nerve never knowing when to shut up and then being affronted by the consequences of her actions. then I remembered she was a 21 year old child in adult situations. I still hated her. I liked Salvatore until the end when he seemed to grow a vagina

Salvatore

What did you love best about Salvatore?

I really enjoyed the mafia angle. This is not my usual genre of book but Nathasha did a wonderful job of drawing me into the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Salvatore. I liked how he was torn between his loyalty to his family and wanting to live his life with out all of he violence that goes with it.

Which scene was your favorite?

I enjoyed the entire book. It was excellent from start to finish.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Family First!

Any additional comments?

Really great book made even better by audio. Totally loved the characters. So worth the time to listen. All of Natasha's book are credit worthy. You just can't go wrong!

dark sexy and intriguing

Natasha Knight sweeps you away in this story of Lucia and Salvatore. I started out not liking him but once you start peeling back the layers there is more to Salvatore than he shows. When he and Lucia go head to head the tension explodes,,,and so does their passion. The fast pace action and intrigue delivers a powerful punch. I'll have to continue with this series because I'm well and truly hooked.

L❤VED THIS!!

New author and narrator for me. Hot! So glad I bought a bunch of her audiobooks during the big Audible sale. The story, the way Salvatore manhandles Lucia 🤤😈, the tension and how this leads into Dominic's and Sergio's stories. I have questions about Sergio though.

Narrative threw me off

The story itself was intriguing but a duel narration would have done the story better.

Least Favorite Natasha book

This was my least favorite Natasha book, and I usually love her books. It wasnt the worst, but it felt like all of the characters had massive personality shifts towards the end. It went from dark mafia to feeling more like a modern day generic love story, where everything concluded with too neat of a wrap up. People went from being tough gangsters willing to kill or punish anyone that bothered them to just shrugging their shoulders and calling peace. Somehow the family war tension existing over decades just ended and everyone was either friends or just went there separate ways. The story definitely fell flat and was pretty disappointing.

The narration was fine at times, but other times I was confused about who was talking and there was some poor inflection for certain parts. The narration could have been much better.

great

I love the way the narrator say the characters names. I loved the read so much so I have to now listen to Dominic story. find out where he went and what happened when he returned, then finally Sergio because of how close Natalie was to Salvatore. I wonder if the other two books will mention Salvatore baby. was it a boy or girl? what did they name them. was it twins. 🤔
