Brilliant!!! Need the Conclusion ASAP!!!

After recently discovering Natasha Knight, I have been on a binge the last few days and Collateral was nothing short of amazing. These arranged marriage mafia books are quickly becoming a go to favorite of mine. I enjoy the twists and turns and surprises and how things are not at all what they seem. The lies, betrayal and deceit...bring it on!!!

Gabriela is supposed to marry Stefan in order for Stefan to have more control over Gabriela's father. Gabriela is essentially going from one ruthless controller (her father) to another (her fiance). Despite this unconvential arrangement, Stefan has moments of kindness and compassion, and although he tells Gabriela he does not want to hurt her, history has taught her to trust no one. She has already experienced so much violence and loss.

I found this book to be highly engaging. I enjoyed trying to figure out what was going to happen, but like only the great authors can do, I was left stumped as to where this story will go. I am saddened by where this book was left at the end in terms of the cliffhanger with Gabriela's best friend Alex, but I know that just means that book two, Damage, is going to be amazing. I cannot wait to see what happens between Gabriela, her dad, Stefan and even what role Rafa plays in this story.

This was my first listen by Wen Ross and I must say I am really digging his deep voice. I would definitely like to listen to more books narrated by him and I think he did a great job as Stefan. This was my second listen by Mackenzie Cartwright and she is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. She can really do these types of books well and I enjoy listening to her voice. I found this audiobook to be a highly enjoyable listen!!! #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Sucks you in

Awesome story that sucks you and keeps you locked! Lots of angst, turmoil and questioning! Absolutely love narration! Two of the best in the audio world!!!

Excellent Audio

This is my first Natasha Knight book and it is excellent. I cannot wait to get to book two. It's hard to know what is going to happen. I'm second guessing everything. Who is the ultimate bad guy? I'm enjoying the slow burn for romance/sex in this book. It makes it more realistic.

Wen Ross and Mackenzie are two new favorite narrators. Their voices are so smooth. Wen Ross has the best deep voice I've heard. Their performances are excellent. It truly seems as if I'm watching a movie.

Wen Ross & Mackenzie Cartwright's performance is outstanding. They brought the characters to life in such an amazing, and palpable way, that at times I thought I was watching a movie. So, in performance Collateral gets from me 5 Stars!!

The story is captivating, intense and entertaining. However, I would have given it a perfect score if childish Gabriela hadn't been showing her face so much, since what makes me liked her in the first place was that she seems to be fierce, feisty, and mature for her young age. So, the story gets 4.5 Stars from me.

I highly recommend this audiobook, I just loved it, and can't wait to listen to the next audiobook!!

intense

This story is so intriguing! Mystery, mafia, darkness. Gabriela grew up in the Marchese family Mafia. She's seen so much violence in her 18 years.
Stefan Sabioni makes a contract with her father to marry Gabriela . She doesn't know if her life is going to be worse or would she be better off staying with her abusive father. This is so intense . It's like a cat and mouse game, Stefano and Gabriela feeling each other out. What makes each other tick. Natasha Knight has written a story that kept my attention but what a cliffhanger . Wen Ross and Mackenzie Cartwright narration was very intense and emotional, they kept me so involved in the story. 🎧audiobookobsessionreview🎧

Compelling, dark, and provocative

Collateral is the first half of a duet of books in this "Arranged Marriage" Mafia Romance. I can't wait to get my hands on the second book. Make no mistake, this is a dark and provocative book set in a world that views women as objects subject to contract marriages. The dual narration is fantastic, the plot is unpredictable, and the characters are wonderfully written.

Mafia Romance Masterpiece!

Italian mafia romance that’s intense. It’s swoony.
ITS. EVERYTHING.

Seriously, I went into this blind. And I was completely in it within minutes. Natasha Knight does an amazing job of pulling you into this entire universe in Italy from the weather, to the food, and of course the food. The hero and heroine are enemies from different families. And you’re rooting for them the whole way thru!! I’m dying for book 2... DY-ING!!!

What?

I need the second book now! Like right now. Collateral was sooo good. We have Gabriel and Stefan. I wouldn’t really call this book a romance just yet. Gabriel is forced to marry Stefan. Stefan and Gabriel’s father hate each other, and Gabriel is the collateral. She’s had a tuff life. She watched her mother die, she’s isolated from everyone and her dad is a monster. She’s no push over though, she strong and defiant. Gabriel and Stefan struggle in this book. He’s not the monster she thinks he is. I need to find out what happens. If you like mafia romances you’ll enjoy this book! Both narrators did a fantastic job!
