Probably better to read this book

The narrator speaks in a monotone, robotic voice without emphasis on when he is changing to next topic. He literally speaks out abbreviations i.e., e.g. instead of “that is”, “for example”. Seems like he has no clue about topic at hand and is bluntly speaking out what is written.
Also hearing nondescript SQL commands being blurted out just zones you out of listening.
Hence it’s probably a lot better to actually read this book.

I downloaded a few books on basic programming over the weekend because my boss required us to. It’s not a topic that I enjoy listening about, to be honest, but this book was a pleasant surprise. Interesting . I actually did learn something, and that’s a big deal because I can’t say that for everything I get off the audible store. Thanks to the decent amount of how-to content this book had. Very satisfied!

SQL or Structure Query Language isn't an easy thing to understand and it requires a lot of study and practice. With this guide, of course I haven't turned into an expert but I've gained a lot of knowledge which I'm practicing and using this book as a reference guide!
The technical terms and aspects are well explained along with practice database.

I work every day with numbers and information database, but this SQL I had never heard parallax until I mentioned a friend. And so here I am with this book. I discovered a new world opened. Information, control, basics and more. to facilitate and optimize those using the database. Really an interesting discovery as well as instructive

great understanding

Excellent book on providing an introduction to both how SQL works and how to write queries for extracting data. Really helped me to understand how stored procedures in the systems I tested worked, helped me to troubleshoot issues with those stored procedures, and with understanding how built in query tools were pulling data. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get a good start on learning to write and use SQL.

There are few database books that are pure gold from cover to cover. This is one of those books. Timeless database principles applied to real life situations. I simply cannot recommend this book enough. The authors not that it is not geared towards DBA's...yeah right! This is a must rlisten for any database professional.

brief introduction

Awesome! A good brief introduction to SQL, easy to ready and nice images to view how things work and results of the SQL you are learning. While you will need a more advanced book to really learn SQL in detail this is a nice primer. I received this book at a discount in exchange for my honest review and this is it.
