Wanted: One roommate to share a three-bedroom house, split the rent, and ideally not be the guy I can’t stop thinking about.

I’m a man with too many secrets, so the last thing I need is a new roommate with a sexy smile and blue eyes that see right through me. Eight years ago, Roderick left town after high school. We’re not friends. I owe him nothing. But back then, I let one of my secrets slip, and he’s the only one who noticed.

Part of me knows I should run far, far away. But the other part wants him to come upstairs and spend the night. But if I let him in, I could lose everything.

I should probably add: gay AF, and has no filter. It’s no wonder my new landlord is so wary of me.

A smarter man would ignore those hot glances from the broody lumberjack. He may want more from me than another fresh-baked pretzel. But if I push my luck, I’ll end up back on the street.

Loved this

I loved Kieran and Roderick’s story. I couldn't put it down once I started it. I loved the way they not only fall in love but the friendship that develops and how it all unfolds. There’s drama, tears, laughter, baked goods, and so much joy in this book. The way Griffin was the best cousin ever, and Father Peters giving Roderick hope, and showing what unconditional love feels like.

The narration was so well done. Great job bringing the characters to life.

How friggen cuuuuute!

I am SUCH a sucker for MM stories and Roddy and Kieran is no different. Nothing like a gay awakening and emotion and personal growth all in one book. Roddy learns to finally put himself first, but at the same time learn that sometimes he just has to slow down, listen, and look to realize that everything is not as cut and dry and that sometimes things have to play out a certain way to get the desired result. Kieran holds his emotions and secrets to his chest for so long he doesn’t know what to do when he’s forced to choose. Kieran learned had to learn that not every burden is his, and that sometimes letting go is the best thing to do, even if it’s not easy.

These two are perfect for each other and they are absolutely adorable.

Humorous, sexy and also cute - but not too overly cutesy, I loved it!
I basically stayed up all night because I couldn't pause it. Great listen, fantastic narrators.
Hot and spicy scenes, but spaced nicely to have some good buildup and gets the wiggles going inside. Sexy boys did not feel crass or degrading, well done I think

One of the BEST books I’ve listened to!

This book has been wanting more! The storyline was fantastic. It actually had real life moments. Cars breaking down, money struggles, family problems, and much more. I couldn’t wait to listen to more of it. 10/10 recommend a listen.
