Good book but narration was off (and I love Max)
Book was good, very slow in the beginning but the ending was GREAT! I loved the narrator in previous LOTU books but this time around he was annoying. Lots of "wet" noises. It was gross and distracting from the story.

A solid 4.5 stars
It is obvious that the series continues past this book but this story really felt like culmination, several story lines are finalized. For the time being anyway. I have really struggled with liking Paris and Sienna in previous books, and even in the beginning of this one, but their story is really very sweet and incredibly well written. There is plenty of action in this book, in more ways than one. I felt very engaged for the whole story, my interest never wandered. I can't wait for the next installment. I am puzzled by some of the lower ratings and less than glowing reviews, I couldn't feel more differently.
Max Bellmore did a wonderful job in this book, as he does for the entire series.

Paris
Really enjoyed Paris’s story. Well done. The only book thus far I didn’t care for was Gideon’s. I wish his demon curse could have been done differently. Plus the story wasn’t my favorite.

Not the best..but still very good!
Although this not my favorite - I think mostly due to how high in the sky my expectations were, this was still a tremendous listen and I highly recommend it (as part of a series- for complete enjoyment) to any fan of a hot ( yes, strong sexual content) paranormal romance genre.
Thank God Ms. Showalter hasn???t lost her ability to take me away now that I???m finding more and more difficult to surrender my mind and heart to a Paranormal Romance novel.
I love the lords and I???ve not grown tired of their world, I still want to hear William???s story (my favorite) I still want to go all the way to end, and if you???re a fan of the series I wouldn???t skip this one, it still contains all the elements that made you love it in the first place.
Hot???
Suspense???
Engrossing???
Well developed characters???
A good love story???
Action???
Updates on the rest the lords ???
It was great to get Galen???s point of view which has ignited my interest in him and Legion. I really enjoyed their story, I???m dying to see where it goes and where it will end.
New characters are introduced, secrets are revealed and don???t you want to know if the end is getting near?
LOTU continues to be one of favorite Paranormal Romance series.
All in all, this is a solid entry to the Lords of the Underworld and a highly enjoyable listen.
Narration.
I can???t believe that I have to start my review of the narration with ??? how can???t anyone not love Max Bellmore???????
I love the way he narrates these books, and The Darkest Seduction is not the exception.
Again he???s approach and pace are flawless, and the mood of the novel, the characters personality, and sensuality are perfectly conveyed.
Another fantastic job by very talented narrator.

Finally Paris Gets his woman!
If you've been listening along to this story from the 1st book, following everyone as they get their true loves. you may have picked a favorite or two. the 2 people for me that I had been waiting to read about would be Paris and Torin finally. Paris gets his woman and what a story it is. Beware true love does make odd bedmates

Finally someone for Paris
What did you love best about The Darkest Seduction?
I loved the development of Senna and Paris's reliationship. It was nice how much Paris loves Senna. He was so thoughtful and kind to Senna. It was so sweet.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Darkest Seduction?
The most memorable moments is when Paris and Senna realize that they can be together forever.
What about Max Bellmore’s performance did you like?
Great narrator. Definitely made the story. I like that he can do both female and male voices that are believable. Bellmore is definitely one reason to listen to this story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, but there is so much going on with this story that it would be an injustice to try and cram the whole story into one sitting.
Any additional comments?
I've read most of the books in this series, but Bellmore makes the story come to life. He also makes it easy to hear the book over and over again.

Really good addition to the series :)
4-4.5 stars
This was a really good story. I liked both Sienna and Paris...I've been rooting for them to work things out for a while now so I'm happy to see it finally happen.
Sienna is a hunter that wishes she was a romance writer. Sienna lost her sister at a young age and later, was recruited into the hunters by a boyfriend that convinced her that all of humanity's troubles (including losing her sister) were caused by demons that she could help destroy. Sienna tried to do her part but when she was made host to the demon of Wrath, she realized she'd been on the wrong side the whole time.
Paris is one of the immortal warriors that was responsible for opening Pandora's box. As a way to imprison the demons and punish the men that released them, the Greek gods decided to make the immortal warriors hosts to the demons. Paris was made the host to the demon of promiscuity. He can't sleep with the same woman twice but if he doesn't have sex daily he'll weaken and eventually die.
Paris and Sienna met a few books back when Paris was really low on power and needed a woman. He met Sienna and liked her so he decided to seduce her. Unfortunately, Paris didn't know that Sienna was a hunter and she ends up drugging and capturing Paris. Paris is able to escape the hunters but having discovered that he can have sex with Sienna more than once, he decides to take her with him and hunters end up killing her before they can escape. Paris was torn up about losing Sienna and tried to find a way for them to be together again. Unfortunately, this brings Sienna to the attention of Cronos and when Wrath is freed from his host, Cronos puts Wrath in Sienna. Cronos holds Sienna captive while Paris has been tearing through anyone and anything that will help him get closer to finding Sienna.
Paris finds Sienna in a separate dimension in the heavens. Since she died while he was trying to escape with her, Paris isn't sure if she'll hate him or not. Since she's long since figured out how evil the hunters are and how wrong she was, Sienna realizes that Paris and the other LotU are decent men and didn't deserve all the crap they've been dealt. Sienna and Paris come together at first with them both thinking that their reunion will only be temporary but every second together makes the thought of being separated that much worse. They both soon realize that they want to stay together but there's much drama going on and it seems like most everyone is determined to use Sienna as a tool whether she likes it or not. I will say that there's a lot going on in this story and the series storyline takes a major jump forward! Things are rough for Sienna and Paris but they do end things starting a well deserved HEA together.
This was a really enjoyable story. I liked Sienna and how she grew into a better version of herself as she learned how her new world worked. I've always kind of liked Paris and I felt bad for him...the way he always had to have sex with women he didn't want to stay alive. The poor guy just wanted someone to love him and I'm so glad he found that in Sienna. Overall, the story was really good with some surprises at the end. I'd recommend this story and series. :D
