Publisher's summary

The house on Sunset Boulevard has witnessed everything: from the infamous murder-suicide of a '50s starlet and her lover, to the drug-fueled commune in the '60s, to the anguish of its present owner, Jilly Meyer, who is struggling to preserve the house and what's left of her wounded family.

Somehow Jilly has to stop Coltrane from destroying everything she cherishes. Including her own vulnerable heart. And the only way to do that is to uncover what Coltrane is really up to, and that could mean upsetting the explosive secrets of the past.

Stuart Fabulous/ Narrator Horrible

There must be some sort of criteria that has to implemented so that a perfectly well- written narrative is not completely butchered by a narrator who cannot even decipher between two different characters: one male and one female. It does not matter that Audible will refund us payment for a book.... It is just so frustrating that a narrator cannot have at least enough talent to have a couple of male leads to choose from that do not sound like women.

Short!

At under three hours, Shadows at Sunset is extremely abridged! I feel that in that amount of time, the story could not be told in enough detail.

The plot was very interesting, but if you are very interested in reading this book, you should read it, don't go for the audio version, because it is bound to disappoint you.

Unfortunately I haven't read the book, so I can't give a fair review of it in its entirety, but I think it's probably worth the read.
