Angelique is a beautiful, thick, and curvy woman, and everyone seems to see that but her. Her passion is music, and she's devoted her entire life to it, often performing at bars and coffee shops. Connie's Café was where she met Jason. He stood by, listening to her every note the entire night, waiting to ask for her name after the show was over. Immediately after talking to him, Angelique is mesmerized. He's so attractive it scares her, but he has a way with words and makes her feel beautiful on the inside and out. In time, Angelique uncovers the dynamics of Jason and unwillingly begins to fall in love with him in the process.
I couldn't stand the woman reading it.. It seemed like she was reading slam poetry.
If you could sum up Loving Me for the Way I Am in three words, what would they be?
A sexy romantic story that seemed realistic. Lots of hot sex and definitely celebrates women with CURVES!
What other book might you compare Loving Me for the Way I Am to and why?
I would compare it to a typical romance novel with sex scenes amped UP!
Have you listened to any of LaDawn Black’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
My first time listening to her and I will DEFINITELY pick her other projects, Her delivery is smooth and it really added to the sexiness of the story. She got the flow of the scenes. It was a pleasant listen.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, short and erotic.
