Another great addition to this series! Can be listened to as a standalone but there are some details that would likely make more sense if you have read or listened to book 1, also we have a better idea of who all the characters are from previous books. Gwen and Kwame are such an adorable couple together and are also in similar situations since they're both different from others of their kind. I enjoyed watching them grow together and their journey to developed justice in the elemental world. There were some pretty suspenseful parts throughout this elemental (mermaid) romance and I loved the ending!

The narrator gave another excellent performance for this series! She gives a clear performance with good character voice differentiation and just enough dramatization for the story. Excited to see this narrator continue to grow!
