Fun and what I needed
I recommend this book to anyone who likes light fantasy. It was a little difficult to follow and I saw the twists coming immediately. I really like that this book focuses on an adult women rather than a teenager the way so much YA does. I like the creep factor of the dead walking among us. Some of it is a bit repetitive. I’m giving it a 5/5 total because I listened to it in 2 sittings and it brought me joy. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Good idea
So the foundations for a great book are all here. The story could be very interesting but at this moment in time I’m thinking what’s the point… there was no real start middle or end to this… I’ve got the next book waiting but I’m not on tenterhooks. This author is amazing so I’m just going to put my faith in the process. The characters have potential, and I’m living for the bad ass lead… but that being said I don’t feel like we know much about her… needs to be a lot more character development! And what’s with this love interest… can we have a direction please. Let’s see what else happens.
