Liked the main characters. The other characters need to develop as well.

The story was too slow. At times, my interest was lost. Too much times was spent on Lasko and Camu.

Good but stale

The story is starting to take a drastic turn but it is good. My largest problem with this book and the last couple is the dialog between characters. When the group speaks to each other it seems like every single one has to chime in with something that isn’t important. This leads to a whole lot of “lazgul said and camu said” type writing. It’s tough with so many character so I understand it.

Good

Amazing story and very descriptive writing but not enough action and way to many long chapters about magic studies.

Solid chapter in the saga

An easy listen, plenty of foreshadowing, ready for the next installment.
Maybe just a little less filler and stronger progression towards the storyline.

Love this Story & Love Eicewald

I love all that Eicewald teaches Lasgol in this book. I know some found it slow and boring, but I enjoyed it. For what it's worth, Ona would agree, as she is bored for most of the book. Camu is cute and makes me smile. It's nice that Lasgol FINALLY gets to train in his magic and has a kind and respectable tutor. I've read all these thru book 19, and all I'll say is that this is sadly a one time opportunity for Lasgol, and they're *really* going to need that magic soon in their adventures.

Great. One of the best!

Great writing. The group really starts to advance as a adult team. A few reviews are definitely off. The story follows as it should with good detail on the workings of magic and character progression. Wouldn't change a thing. Plenty of action at ever turn. Keep up the good work.
