Publisher's Summary

Daily struggles with anxiety and stress make it difficult to receive God's peace. Rhythms of Renewal will help you trade your anxiety for the vibrant life you were meant to live through four profound rhythms: rest, restore, connect, and create. With encouraging stories and practical steps, Rebekah Lyons will help you begin an intentional, lifelong journey toward sustained emotional, relational, and spiritual health.

Rhythms of Renewal is your guide to daily rescue and a way forward into the peace your soul longs for.

As a society, we are in the throes of a collective panic attack. Anxiety and loneliness are on the rise, with 77 percent of our population experiencing physical symptoms of stress on a regular basis. We feel pressure chasing careers, security, and keeping up. We worry about health, politics, and many other complexities we can't control. Eventually we find our minds spinning, trying to cope or manage a low hum of anxiety, unlike ever before.

But it doesn't have to stay this way.

Rebekah draws from her own battle with depression and anxiety and shares a pathway to establish four life-giving rhythms that quiet inner chaos and make room for a flourishing life. By taking time to rest, restore, connect, and create, you will discover how to:

  • Take charge of your emotional health and inspire your loved ones to do the same
  • Overcome anxiety by establishing daily habits that keep you mentally and physically strong
  • Find joy through restored relationships in your family and community
  • Walk in confidence with the unique gifts you have to offer the world

Life changing

Within the first three paragraphs, this book had me pegged.
The real life examples of the author assured me that I was not alone and if these principles could work for her, they could work for me. If she could overcome and so could I. Thank you for putting your heart and soul and life on these pages.
If you are struggling with anxiety, panic, and an over whelming life and feel that you are doing many things but none of them well., This is the book for you. It was for me. Thank you

Just what I needed!

Amazing, it’s like talking with a best friend. We always put ourselves last. We can refuel and serve others when we are running on empty. I can relate to her and How she feels and how she copes. I think so many people have waited for something like this to help work through the feelings and emotions. There is guilt attached to feeling to much or worrying to much, Rebekah explains it so that I feel less ashamed. Thank you

Anxiety does not have to control us!

What a refreshing book! No pressure to do more and be more, but to truly rest in the Lord and be renewed in simple, practical ways. In a world that screams, “you’re never enough,” this book is exactly what the soul needs to remember how we function best. It’s great practical advice, told in the context of Rebekah’s own journey. She has such a gift of marrying the practical with her own story that makes it relatable and enjoyable to read.
