Season 3 material

The second half of volume 2 plus volume 3 and volume 4 would make a great season 2 for the anime. This one however is perfect for the start of season 3. I enjoyed reading it and enjoyed the audiobook too.

couldn't put it down

The performance of the va was well done and the story is very interesting. please hurry to release the rest of the series. I seriously would have bought the whole series after the first book if more was out.

The story allows full immersion.

I have listened to these books multiple times. They never get old. It’s very well narrated. Teacher actually sounds like the English anime version.

Meh

I loved the anime, so I decided to read the LN. It’s been good so far, but this volume wasn’t great imo. The narrators voice when he laughs or makes sound fx is super annoying, Fran is usually so cool but I’m halfway through this and it’s like she hasn’t learned anything and is borderline just an animal who likes to kill. The worst part is Teacher, at this point he’s just a nagging coward and it’s getting old, he’s like a scared little old lady who’s always wanting to run away. If Fran would grow up some and Teacher would grow a backbone (which you’d think they would have by now in the story) it would be a better story, not sure what the authors thinking was with this volume, I’m hoping things change in the next volume

excellent story!

Can't wait for volume 6 and 7. characters are believable. good humor and the plot drows you in. the sneak "side story" makes you impatient for audible to hurry up and recorded the next volumes. How long do we have to wait?

Excellent writing

I really have to applaud the writing compared to other isekai. Too often the main character still quickly out pace all challenges and the rest of the story will just involve stomping everything in the dust. Not here. There's always a tougher challenge in this series that keeps things exciting. So excited to keep up with this story.

Just Terrible

In every way this was utter trash the wrighting disjointed, predictable and cringe. The characters were all annoying, stupid or just gross but by far the worst part is the ungodly bad voice acting for the love of God stop making terrible noises I do not need to hear lip shaking when people eat or a cringe grunt every time someone swings a weapon.
