I have to be honest and say that I was really nervous about listening to this particular audiobook. The idea of someone falling in love with a serial killer just didn’t bode well with me, but you read to escape real life, and this was such a fun escape. Cain and Layla had terrific chemistry, but it was very mysterious. Girls were being killed who looked like Layla and Cain seemed to be the suspect.

There are a lot of anxiety moments in this book, and the twist at the end is jaw-dropping. But I have to say that I loved this book and will probably listen to it again to see if I could pick out things that I missed the first time. It was a satisfying ending.

Sebastian and Ava did such a great job bringing these characters to life.

What an amazing ride! Unputdownable! There is no downtime, no lulls and no dead spots. It’s just so great! And of course SebYo and Ava do such an amazing job. You can’t go wrong with this. 10/10 would recommend!!!

What an amazing story I love trying to figure out murder mysteries. Add Sebastian along with Ava..Perfect! Would have loved to hear Sebastian more but what he did do was fabulous!

Well Ava has done it again. Her audible book is great from beginning to end. She couldn’t have chosen better narratatiors. You can’t go wrong with this audiable book!!!

This was an absolutely amazing story! The whole mystery and the journey to the ending was brilliant! The Narration by Sebastian and Ava is perfect as always. I wish I could listen to it for the first time again.

Excellent story!! Layla is bored with her job as a staff writer for an architectural magazine…her dream is to be an investigative journalist. When she is assigned to tour and write about the latest architectural project that is run by AI, the last thing that she expects is to find her ‘someone’…but that’s what happens! Cain Archer may be emotionally void but the instant chemistry with Layla is undeniable. Can chemistry withstand mistrust when signs point to Cain as a serial killer? This book will keep you so engrossed that you won’t stop until you find all the answers!! The ending…WOW!

Amazing from beginning to end

Love this book so much! She really makes the characters come to life and the narrators are perfect. You think you know what is going to happen but you have no idea!

Wow, that was interesting. very good book, the ending leaves so so many open questions. I did not like the way it ended without a definite finish. Yes, it did end however I didn't see it End! More of an ending, conclusion, finish. It just left so much .... what if this or what if that? So other than a less than spectacular end, I enjoyed the Book very much
