Tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt me for a 2nd listen.

While the performance and audio mix were exceptional, the storytelling style of this abridged version was reminiscent of the Netflix adaptation of Jane Austen's Persuasion. (Austen fans, if you know, you know.) All of the asides felt just slightly off and sometimes gave the impression that they wanted to be more relatable to a modern audience which detracted from the beloved original story. Regardless, it was a beautiful listen that many people can enjoy.

Short and sweet

Loved the writing (naturally) and the vast audio atmosphere, very well done! Huge amount of talented voices, so my only complaint is that the accents were not quite British enough and when Elisabeth talked to Mr. Darcy, it was too silent, like her inner voice. I think this would have been hard to follow without prior knowledge of the book.
