Great for new moms

I appreciate the author for taking the time to get to the nitty gritty of pregnancy and self care. This is great information that my doctor or other moms may not tell me. Everyone's pregnancy is unique, but I found these tips on self care to be important. This audiobook has helped me refocus and be aware of my mental state and identify what needs to change during pregnancy. Grateful for the recipes and affirmations to help on this journey. Recommend to new moms.

Must listen for soon to be mothers

I recommended this book to a friend and it really benefited her! Many new mothers spend all this time trying to make sure their new baby has what it needs when the core of the baby's health is your health. This book shows you how to take care of yourself in the most effective way to have a healthy pregnancy.

Wifey loves the book a lot!

Got this book for my wife and she says she got a lot of value from it. She especially loved the advice on avoiding excess caffeine, joining pregnant women groups for community support, doing exercises like stretching and yoga, and much more. She gives the book 5 stars and recommends it to any pregnant lady or any women than plans on having a baby.

Comprehensive and an essential!

I bought this book for my friend who is on baby number 2. She had a really easy first pregnancy but this time around everything is different. The guidance in this book is invaluable, it is comprehensive and I would say essential for all expectant mothers. The chapter on optimizing your diet and recipe ideas has been particularly useful. This book has been a lifeline for my girlfriend who finished the book in a matter of days. Filled with knowledge and is easy to listen to!

Prioritizing Self-Care During Pregnancy!

Out of all the pregnancy guide books out there, this one really stood out to me because it includes things like listening to your inner voice (or guidance)- which was refreshing. I especially loved the meditations and affirmations in addition to all of the many wonderful ideas for self care during pregnancy. Really great information- highly recommend!

Very Resourceful

I fell in love with this audiobook. I think author Amanda Baker did an awesome job. It feels very well researched. There’s a wealth of knowledge about how important it is to make sure your self-care is a priority to be able to give your baby the best bet of yourself. Holistic wellness is essential so pursue it. There are even recipes available for food that can help you achieve a healthy balance in your diet. The I am affirmations at the end of this audiobook for expectant or soon-to-be mothers were very helpful. I would strongly recommend this audiobook to new or expecting moms.

Great book as a gift!

I bought this for a friend who's having her first child. She's overwhelmed with information about what to eat, what to do when the baby arrives, what the dad should do... but very little on the topic of self-care. This book was a real gift to her, I listened to it before sending her one, and it's just the thing she needs. Clear, concise information delivered in a soothing, informative manner... every pregnant woman could use more of these techniques and ideas! Highly recommended.
