I honestly wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I did. After reading so many of Rick Riordan’s other series, I thought returning to Percy Jackson again might feel repetitive or boring, especially with this newer “Senior Year Adventures” trilogy. I was completely wrong.

The story was genuinely fun, fast paced, and full of hilarious and thrilling moments that reminded me exactly why I fell in love with Percy Jackson in the first place. Rick Riordan has such a unique talent for keeping things entertaining, no matter how familiar the world feels.

Jesse Bernstein’s narration was absolutely incredible. Hearing him read Percy again brought back so much nostalgia, and he continues to be the perfect voice for this series. His performance made the experience even more enjoyable.

Now that I’ve finished book one, I can’t wait to continue the rest of the series. I highly recommend listening to this, especially if you grew up with Percy Jackson.
