What joy feels like

I read a lot of books this year. This one made me the happiest. It’s cozy and kind and lovely and I’m going to read it again - like right away!

A great first book!

I already enjoyed Travis Baldree for his reading on the Cradle series.
That's why I bought a book that was 6 hours shorter than I will typically spend a credit on.
I'm so glad I did. The story was sweet and uplifting while not shirking away from darkness. this is a great story about building a new life and choosing to live in a new way.

Delightful!

If you want a fantasy full of swashbuckling and epic battles, this book is NOT for you. But if you want a fantasy with interesting characters, a lot of heart, and even more coffee, you will love this one! It’s a classic example of “cozy fantasy”, and will leave you with a warm feeling. I really loved it!

delightfully cozy

I found this while looking for a new story at work. This has to be the most delightful fantasy setting I've had in awhile. I could feel the atmosphere and taste the pastries basically. To the author a thank you for this story and to others please listen it's not a waste.

Just Great

Always been a great narrator this first book by Baldree does not disappoint. A fun light hearted story which is a great break from the traditional hard hitting fantasy/litrpg genre. Highly recommended

Excellent short story by Travis Baldree

Travis Baldree is already an accomplished audible presenter and this original story of his own is creative and well done. Imagine, what do adventures do when they retire? It could spark a whole new genre.

amazing D&D Cozy Read

I saw this as a recommendation on a D&D discord and thought I'd give it a go. It reminds me a bit of a Hallmark movie with TTRPG flare. I loved it.

Everything I have to say about this book was said in the first three words, Please Write Another. I quite thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Great book

I love his voice and how he reads his characters! And I can't forget the phrase buttery light. This guy is an ambiance wizard.
