Lets call this part 1 of 2...

It never fails. Harry finds trouble or trouble finds Harry. This time it seems to be both. I just didn't expect the book to end with things so unresolved. I guess we wait for the rest of the story later this year. I'm at the edge of my seat. I'll call this part one and say that I'm dying to see what happens next.

Worth the wait

I’ve missed Harry, and wondered what was in store for him. As always, the unexpected happened, and it does not disappoint.

It could only be better if it was...

Another several hundred hours longer. I absolutely love these detailed storytelling Jim Butcher and the Dresden universe. James Marsters delivers the words perfectly (again). As with the other novels in the series, the only sadness I have about this book is coming to its end. Seven 🌟 stars 🌟 out of five. Bravo.

Peace Talks, the eye before the storm

Loved it, great build up for the next book. It set up all the necessary events and keeps you wanting more and more

Just what i needed.

so alot of reviews i have read said the book wasent that good and was unfinished. first off this is the first dresdin book that we have had that really left you with a cliff hanger with no major climactic end. that dosent make it a bad book. the story was great and the reading was on point as normal. on to battle ground to see what happens. very good book.

Great book and great series

It's an amazing book great series and cant recommended more. Cant wait to be dramatized!!

Great book

wonderful story, butcher does it again with Harry and the wonderful world of magic. I would listen to it again and again.

It sure was a book.

I'll be frank this whole book felt very much like a prologue. If you're not utterly dying to know what happens to Chicago's most famous wizard- then maybe sit this one out until Battle Grounds comes. 'Sure wish I did.

It's not bad, just feels incomplete.
