Very good series

This was a pleasant surprise. The character development was great. The storyline was juicy. The female narrator's gasping whisper speech was off putting.

How she figured the true person behind everything

Liked how it ended-and how she would not give up despite being quite scared

My first book by this author. I'm enjoying the story and the writing. I will mo e on to book 2.

I really liked the book. What I like the least was the narration. The narrator sounds like she is constantly out of breath. I didn't like that at all.
The good things about the narrator is that beside the "out of breath" sounds she pronounced words clearly, keeping good steady volume. it was easy to follow the book.
