A fun and energetic read about the times we are living!

The natural dialogue and contemporary relevance made this such a fun and compelling listen! I loved the audible version!

Clever, Witty, Relevant

Fesperman is one my favorite spymasters. I think he may be the most accurate and therefore relevant authors on espionage today.

Pariah is a really fun story of our CIA recruiting and inserting a disgraced comedian into a real operation. It’s fiction, but given what continues to be revealed about our spy agencies, it feels authentic.

Best of all it’s narrated by one of the best, the author himself!

Clever and original

This was smart, interesting, and relevant. Also, some authors are not a good choice for reading their own work but Fesperman did a good job.

Somebody doesn’t want you to read this!

That’s the only explanation I can think of for some of the negative reviews that I have seen.
This book was clever, fun and exhilarating. The characters were believable. The topic was very topical, and the plot moved quickly.

A delight!

Just such a delightful, funny, and grounded thriller. A twisty ride with an unlikely hero!!!

Spy-jinks

Fun spy thrillerish with connections to recent international intrigues with hapless Hal. I enjoyed this listen.

Goes Nowhere

I quit after Chapter 28. Not one chuckle and a plot that refuses to develop.
